| Job Details International Manufacturing Group Niche High End Architectural Products $80k Base + Super + Career Growth Our client is an established market leader in the design and distribution of high end architectural building products. Established for over 50 years they are THE player in the design and manufacture of architectural commercial and residential framing systems. This hands on role is available immediately and will be based from their inner City Head office location. In this design focused role your main tasks will involve the development of standard and tailor made architectural product systems including devising conceptual ideas for single dwelling, multi-residential and commercial projects. You will liaise heavily with the national sales teams and will work closely with key customers to produce technical drawings and designs. Responding to end user customer enquiries and assisting architects and designers your role be varied, challenging and fast paced! To be considered suitable for this role you will most likely have the following skills and attributes; Minimum 3 years design drafting experience relating to the window, door and fa?ade industry. Sound technical product knowledge and a thorough understanding of Australian Building standards. Specific formal Design qualifications e.g. TAFE or equivalent Strong AutoCAD, Inventor and associated Software experience. Ability to work well in a friendly team environment. Strong project management skills and ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines. Solid technical aptitude and creative flair for design. Ability to build relationships internally and with external key accounts, builders, fabricators, architects and designers. High level of customer service values and ethics Professional, mature outlook to your design career Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
